Africa & Mural Project Preview

I thought the pictures were really cute. I love animals especially giraffes and elephants. In my opinion, black and white photography makes the pictures look so much better and even a little more professional. It made my day to see these pictures just because they are so cute. I really liked them and honestly must have taken a lot of time to capture the "perfect" photo. Huge props to the photographers!
This is my favorite photo because it shows the elephant as really dirty and he's in the motion of walking. Oh, and I LOVE ELEPHANTS! They're just the cutest. I could see it as being balance or simplicity. Balance because the main focus point is on the elephant and there's nothing else in sight. Simplicity because it has a black background and has one object in the photo.

Photographer
  1. He used a Pentax 6711.
  2. He took the pictures to show the animals in the state that they are in before they cease to exist.
  3. He has made these types of pictures so that humans can see the beauty of these animals and hopefully influence people to be cognizant about it.
  4. "The photos are my elegy to these beautiful creatures, to this wrenchingly beautiful world that is steadily, tragically vanishing before our eyes."
Mural Project

  1. We could do an "everyday life" of our campus. The main courses here at the school as well as athletics could be in the mural.
  2. I think open up to our regular cameras because they're steady when you take the picture and you have a better angle at taking the picture, therefore it'll come out a lot better than it would on a camera phone.
  3. I think it should be around the main entrance of the school building because our guests will arrive through the front and they can see what everyday life is on Akins High School.
