Photo Manipulation & Ethics

There was a photographer who went to view her pictures but found that it was manipulated with. The site used was "Adobe Photoshop" and can be used to change people in pictures, almost as if copy and paste pretty much. When people send their pictures to "big" people like the newspaper or some sort of magazine, they get caught at least a week later. Once each photographer got caught, they lost there job. In other words, don't use photoshop because it will cost you your job & people will know who messed with the photos. I believe that photo editing is highly unacceptable because it's not the real picture. In photography, you're suppose to catch those moments that seem real to you, that have some sort of meaning. It's obviously not real anymore if you have to photoshop or photo edit the pictures.

This picture is very unethical because there really is no point with the extra darkness on the picture. they used a spotlight sort of effect which honestly I think is very useless.

I feel that this picture is somewhat acceptable because it's just the pyramids have been scooted a little closer. None of the facts have changed, but it's not obvious at all. Atleast they didn't 'delete' a pyramid.
